About the role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated IT Systems Developer to join our growing tech team at Reassured. You’ll be working on our internal CRM systems, helping to build and improve the tools that keep our fast-paced business running smoothly. You’ll be part of a collaborative Scrum team, contributing to planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and delivering high-quality software that makes a real difference.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and maintaining internal systems with some external connectivity
• Working closely with a team to meet business and compliance needs
• Designing, building, testing, and refining software solutions
• Integrating systems and writing clear technical documentation
• Troubleshooting and resolving software issues
• Supporting wider IT initiatives when needed

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of PHP development
• PHP 7.4 (CakePHP) and PHP 8.2+ (Laravel)
• MySQL 8+, JavaScript ES12+, HTML5/CSS
• Git (GitLab), Docker (WSL/Linux), unit testing

Nice to have:

• MongoDB (Azure Cosmos), Tailwind, Azure Cloud
• VueJS/Nuxt, Go, pipelines
• RabbitMQ / Azure Service Bus
• VOIP systems or experience in the life insurance industry
